This family-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization uses the traditional arts of Africa to empower and educate youth in the inner-city Los Angeles community. Our is mission to present and preserve African and African-American cultural arts in ways that empower, educate and inspire. We use the arts to keep youth off the streets, bring communities together and build bridges of joy and compassion through positive artistic experiences.Our organization has 3 focus areas: Community Outreach, Education, and Performance Community Outreach- offers classes, workshops and conferences that feature our amazing professional artistic team as well as master artists from throughout Guinea, Senegal, Mali, Congo, Liberia and The Gambia.
