Bhartiya Jan Uthan Parishad (BJUP) is an impactful and not-for-profit organisation involved in empowering and enabling the rural and marginalised communities through education, empowerment, and advocacy, by linking them with different GO-NGO(S) anti-poverty and flagship programs for their sustainable development. Our vision is to have an equity-based society devoid of any exploitation on the ground of sex, race, caste, creed, class & religion. Our mission is to strive for the sustainable development process and improvement in the quality of life of all sections of the society with emphasis on deprived and marginalized through a participatory approach, empowering them to avail their rights and to lead as well as facilitate the growth of agencies of the marginalized through institution-building processes. Since 2018 we are working with Mica dependent families in the rural and remote areas of Bihar and Jharkhand. We put our emphasis on improving their material well-being by initiating sustainable and ethical actions. With the passage of time, we have expanded our interventions to address the multi-dimensional components of prejudiced, destitution and unjust society. By the committed team members and rigorous efforts today we have Five Foundation of Programs or key areas of intervention, namely, "Child Protection, Education, Health and WASH, Livelihood and Skill Development and Women Empowerment". These areas enable us to create an impactful contribution in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (#SDGs).
