The PNANJ shall continue to uphold and promote the positive image and welfare of the constituent members, advance professional excellence, provide innovative leadership and contribute to significant outcomes to healthcare and society in the State of New Jersey. VISION: • Promoting unity among Filipino-American Nurses in the State of New Jersey. • Developing, implementing and evaluating programs in nursing practice, education, research, and leadership that are relevant to the professional growth of its members and healthcare needs of the community. • Providing and coordinating educational programs designed to assist members in the acquisition and expansion of knowledge, professional excellence, and nursing practice. • Promoting advancement of professional nursing through scholarship, research, and awards. • Facilitating professional and cultural adjustments of Filipino-American Nurses in the Unites States through collaboration with agencies and organizations in the U.S. and the Philippines. • Organizing and actively participating in community health programs relating to prevention of diseases, and promotion and maintenance of health.
