Havel metal foam is your partner for the series production of metal foam sandwiches. The core of our products is extremely lightweight and particularly sturdy aluminium foam, which is – with densities around 0.5 g/cm³ – eminently suitable for lightweight constructions. We manufacture metal foams in combination with steel (SAS) or aluminium top layers (AAS) in the form of sandwiches. Compared to massive metal plates, the metal foam sandwiches boast much higher bending stiffness and make for enormous weight savings. Due to the foam's cellular structure, energy in the form of vibrations, shock or sound can be absorbed, resulting in a wide range of application fields for civil protection and mobile infrastructure.
