Orion Family Services is a private, nonprofit organization which serves children, adolescents and families in Wisconsin. Orion's programs are dedicated to providing compassionate treatment services to children and their families. Orion has two main program areas: Mental Health Services and Community Services. The Mental Health Services program includes individual and family therapy services, provided both in the homes of consumers and in Orion's outpatient clinics, and Service Facilitation through the Comprehensive Community Services Program. Orion's Community Services Program offers a variety of critical outreach services, including mentoring, individual skill development, respite, and supervised visitation. Orion Family Services currently works with more than 350 children and 110 families per year in Dane, Columbia, Green, Iowa, Lafayette, Dodge, Grant, Sauk, Richland, Rock, Jefferson and Walworth counties. Orion is located in Madison, Wisconsin with satellite offices in Janesville and Monroe. The uniqueness of Orion is that its services can be linked together, or combined with existing community services to provide the most effective and economical approach to helping children and their families. The ultimate goal is to promote healthy families and children who feel loved and valued.
