Primus takes a collaborative approach with our peers in healthcare, working together to achieve singular levels of excellence. We are experienced clinicians and consultants—the average career span of a Primus team member is 27 years. We have four primary specialties. First, we support full Activation efforts for Perioperative and Surgical Departments, as well as Ambulatory Surgical Centers. This includes both new-build and expansion projects. Our team can manage all elements including equipment, supply chain, training & competencies, policies & procedures, sterile processing setup/activation, and the other elements of a successful new OR/periop expansion Second, we help optimize Perioperative throughput, efficiency, and outcomes. We are OR nurses, managers, and directors ourselves. We use proven methods to increase first case starts, or level-load the OR schedule, or increase block utilization, for example. Our efforts yield documented results—like annual increases in case volumes of 11% in one year, within the same OR facilities. Third, we design, build, and implement Cerner’s SurgiNet and SurgiNetAnesthesia solutions for clients. We have supported 14 implementations of either or both these solutions. We also optimize these solutions for clients who have been live for two years or greater. Fourth, we provide Interim Management for Perioperative Services and related departments at the Manager and Director levels. Our clients are among the top in the country and world. We are fortunate to include Stanford Children’s/Lucile Packard, Johns Hopkins, and Sidra Medical and Research Center among our clients.
