The San Diego County Parks Society was established in October 30, 1981 by a group of citizens interested in protecting, supporting and improving San Diego County’s vast park system. Our mission is to support San Diego County Parks and Recreation goals, activities, and programs, and to preserve and enhance cultural, community, and natural resources through charitable contributions. Donations to the San Diego County Parks Society will cover things like facility upgrades, environmental education programs, summer camps, special events and cultural festivals, habitat preservation and trail restoration.
