Our goal is to support the "worried well" in vulnerable communities, these are individuals at risk for COVID-19 with mild and moderate severity, but at lower risk of developing severe disease. By doing so, we can protect local primary care capacity to focus on those with moderate COVID-19 severity and high risk for severe disease, along with high yield primary care (chronic disease management, cancer prevention). Our software was built to support COVID-19 clinical services including virtual screening, monitoring, testing and education. TECHNOLOGY: The virtual platform was created by ImplementHIT, a leader in physician software and training. Over the past decade, ImplementHIT has developed solutions impacting more than 1/3rd of all US physicians. WHY: Dr. Jimenez and his team at ImplementHIT teamed up with his former classmates from Cornell's top-ranked healthcare MBA program to launch FreeCovid.clinic to help support this nation's fight against COVID-19 within at-risk populations. CLINICS: RHCs, FQHCs, Free Clinics We provide our software and support free to Rural Health Centers (RHCs), Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), and established Free Clinics to screen and monitor patients for COVID-19. During peak periods if patient load surpasses capacity for FQHCs or RHCs, our free clinic partners can fill in for free.
