Boran Ekinci Architects, was established in Ankara in 1991 and moved to İstanbul in 1996 undertaking the design and construction supervision of the Ekinciler Construction company Headquarters Building in Beykoz İstanbul. Upon successful completion of this building, Boran Ekinci designed several office buildings, housing residences, shipyards, marinas, Olympiad villages and research-development buildings. Although the office has broad experience in design, it has special experience and focus on design of housing projects. Boran Ekinci has won several prizes at domestic competitions and nominations for international ones such as Mies van der Rohe Award 2005 and Aga Khan Award for Architecture 2007. Boran Ekinci Architects is capable of undertaking complete design responsibility as lead consultant for multidiscipline design teams including Structural, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering designs and other support consulting groups such as Vertical Transportation, Fire, Landscape, Acoustics, Interior design, Lighting and a like.
