Step By Step Learning® is a K-12 educational consulting company that is intently focused on what works in teaching reading, writing and spelling. We assist school districts to implement the best and most effective practices to accelerate children to reading at grade level. We integrate ALL educators as stakeholders - administrators, teachers, reading specialists - to create a team-based solution for helping all students become successful readers. Our intervention and instructional process delivers increased student achievement through professional development combined with a strong element of job-embedded modeling and coaching with everyone involved in the students’ education. In fact, our methodologies and processes have expanded to fully support all layers of literacy instruction, aimed at improving teacher effectiveness, building instructional leaders, making curriculum decisions, and managing the classroom – everything that surrounds and supports effective and impactful literacy instruction. We take the best-of-the-best scientifically proven practices in all areas of literacy education and training to create a personalized, in-classroom process. We assess where you are, we coach and develop teachers, we benchmark progress along the way, and we train a community of teachers, learners, administrators, and parents. We understand that everyone grows and develops at different rates so our coaching and modeling is designed to support the individual so that everyone achieves the goal.
