Created by coaches for coaches, MatBoss for iPad® integrates wrestling stats directly into the video you record for each match, completely replacing the need for labor-intensive pencil and paper scoring systems. It’s the wrestling stats app our sport has been waiting for. With over 30-years of coaching experience, John Peterson and Tyler Hemmesch developed MatBoss in 2013 to satisfy some of the most arduous and time-consuming challenges in the sport of wrestling. With the development of the app, John’s goal was to offer an all-inclusive tool to aid coaches in creating more successful wrestlers and, ultimately, more successful wrestling teams. In January 2015, John and his team joined forces with wrestling’s premier news and information source, InterMat, to further refine the app and its offerings while packaging the tool to appeal to college and high school wrestling programs across the country. Today, MatBoss is the leader in video + stats integration (``VideoStats``) and is changing the face and intelligence of the sport thanks to its leadership team of passionate, experienced wrestling fanatics.
