The SUNY Center for Professional Development (SUNY CPD) was established in 1989 as a central resource for technical training and support of campus-based and University-wide technology-related activities and services. Support activities targeted improvements in quality, quantity and cost-effectiveness. The CPD has evolved into the collaborative central resource for top-notch professional development, training and support services for its member campuses and the entire SUNY community. The center provides access to high quality professional development opportunities focused on the latest trends and established best practices in higher education to enhance the capability of SUNY faculty and staff and increase SUNY's competitive advantage.
