Semnan Science and Technology Park (SSTP) is located in an area of about 92 acres, near several universities, including Shahrood University of Technology, Islamic Azad University of Shahrood, Damghan University, Golestan University, Semnan University and several other academic and research centers in the region and having easy access to industrial towns of Shahrood, Damghan, Semnan, Mahdishahr and Garmsar and by giving services to innovators in 10 incubators in the Semnan Province, SSTP has become a heaven for innovators and technological activities of researchers. By presenting laboratory services by having several laboratories, including Nano Lab, Soil Chemistry, Water and Sewage, Microbiology and Biotechnology and Image Processing Labs and also the Rock and Jewel Lab, SSTP is an extensive and comprehensive center for scientific, technical and engineering services for all the tenants in the park and the people from outside. In regard to the potentials of the area in the fields of agriculture and natural resources, mines, geology, nanotechnology and by having enthusiastic and skilled experts in implicating knowledge-based economic plans, SSTP now hosts about 200 tenants/ residents in the park and also all the incubators through the province. It should be noted that these tenants have perfectly presented their abilities in scientific and technical fields.
