We are a composite fire department consisting of 3 career firefighting staff and a core of dedicated volunteer firefighters of all ages, gender and ethnicity, delivering fire and rescue service to our area. We are your neighbours and love our community. Our department is located in the heart of Banff National Park in the beautiful town of Lake Louise, and we take pride in our ability to have delivered consistent and quality protective service to our residents and visitors. With a firefighter training program and modern fire equipment, the Lake Louise Fire Department has established itself as a confident, stable and reliable emergency service in the region that is well supported by our residents and Improvement District #9. We continually seek out and adopt advancements in new technologies and operational procedures to ensure that we instill pride in every department member and maintain the confidence of those who require our services.
