Welcome to the San Joaquin Valley Clean Energy Organization (SJVCEO). We are a non-profit located in the heart of California tasked and dedicated to leading the eight-county region that makes up the San Joaquin Valley. Our vision is to help improve the quality of life by significantly increasing the Valley's use and reliance on clean energy (energy efficiency and renewable energy sources). Our approach is to serve as a catalyst to pull together and support efforts to demonstrate how the Valley can use clean energy resources to meet current and future energy needs. We want to be an advocate and champion for greater clean energy use in the Valley and to make that happen we need to work with YOU! At the SJVCEO we are working with local governments to in two ways: one through a local government partnership in Kings and Tulare Counties with Southern California Edison and Southern California Gas Company to promote energy efficiency and awareness and reduce energy use; and we are working with 40 jurisdictions throughout the Valley to secure federal and other funding and assisting them to implement energy efficiency projects that we can all benefit from. For a region of California that is economically impoverished, predominately rural, agriculturally based, geographically expansive, and culturally diverse there is something greater that unites us: the opportunity to thrive on clean and renewable energy.
