The Amsterdam Aviation Association (SVAAA) is an association with full legal capacity for the students of the Aviation studies at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam (HvA), as well as students who are enrolled in a respective study at the University of Amsterdam (UvA) in which the field of aviation is central. The association organizes various activities, such as visits to companies and air shows, information evenings, networking receptions and an annual introduction camp for freshmen students. In conjunction with the training and the Hogeschool van Amsterdam, we try to provide an informative and sociable contribution to the Aviation students. Because of this there is a close relationship between students and teachers of the Aviation Studies. The association also has an extensive network in the aviation field. To this end, the SVAAA organizes national and international projects throughout the academic year. The SVAAA is still a relatively young organization and therefore there are still many untapped opportunities. The association is growing rapidly and now includes more than 500 students of the Aviation Academy.
