The business was established in 1995 in Streatham, South West London, by Michelle Crowson, who was returning, with her daughter Emma, from 10 years working in corporate property management and sales in Manhattan, New York. Over the years Emma’s has become much more than its humble beginnings and now has a portfolio of properties across the whole of London. The team has grown with the business and we now have a core staff of four and growing. Michelle continues to be fully active in the business and is joined by the team headed by her daughter Emma, after whom the company was named. Emma joined the team in 2015 following the completion of her Masters in English Literature at King’s College London. Adrienne has been with the team for five years and is experienced in all sides of the property market having been a tenant when she moved up to London 15 years ago, then buying and selling properties in London, which she developed, and being a landlord herself! Lauren also joined the team in 2015 and is a familiar face to most of our tenants as she is responsible for most of our out-of-office appointments. At Emma’s we believe it’s essential that we maintain an up-to-date and complete understanding of legislative changes effecting the property market and as such all of our team undergo continuous training. We’re a member of The Association of Residential Lettings Agents (ARLA), The Property Ombudsman, The Deposit Protection Scheme (DPS) and have Professional Indemnity Insurance and Client Money Protection (PI + CMP). We’re also affiliated with various other professional bodies who make sure we stay ahead of the constant changes.
