Canadian Motorcycle Tourism Association

www.motorcycletourism.ca

The Canadian Motorcycle Tourism Association was created to fill a void in tourism supports to motorcyclists and the businesses that would like to attract them as customers. Tourism is an important economic driver. Motorcyclists are the purist of tourists. Every 20-250 KMs they need to stop for fuel. When they stop, they generally grab a beverage, perhaps a bite to eat. The very conveyance that have have chosen for travel, identifies them as an explorer. An eclectic community filled with people from every walk of life, these people are loyal customers who appreciate someone who can see beyond the riding gear to the person. We help promote Canada. We love our country and it's diversity. We help small business prepare for and market to the motorcycle consumer. We help riders find the best tourism experiences in Canada. We help connect our past with our present through the tourism offerings we build and create that are association driven. We promote connections and collaborations. We partner with some of the most dynamic small businesses in the industry to help you the small business find that next riding customer, to help that riding customer connect with the best Canada has to offer. Why? As a female rider, I have been turned away by a business because I was on a motorcycle. Here in Canada in the 21st Century. I have also been treated like gold, like someone who has value. The Canadian Motorcycle Tourism Association wants to help businesses make their consumer feel like gold, like someone valued. VISION: To have motorcyclists recognized for their significant contributions to Canada as tourists, volunteers and community leaders. MISSION STATEMENT: The Canadian Motorcycle Tourism Association believes that our heritage, history and tourism are natural partners in growing better communities. Our relationships with partnering organizations allows us to contribute to the well being of our veterans, youth and families in the communities we live and work in.
