The social secretariats do need a strong federation able to initiate direct contacts with Ministers, Ministerial Cabinets and Administrations and draw media attention. The Union of Social Secretariats has three main missions: 1. Uphold the social secretariats’ best interests 2. Provide for a meeting framework for social secretariats 3. Enhance collaboration between all social secretariats The USS initiates actions aimed at optimizing relations among its members as well as between its members and Public Authorities and social partners.
