The Anthony Seddon Fund is a small mental health charity based in Ashton-under-Lyne, aiming to provide support to people in Tameside with mental health conditions, as well as to their family, friends and carers. We hope to advance awareness and promote education in all areas relating to Mental Health and Well-being within the local community. We are particularly keen to recognise the emotional and educational needs of children and young adults in relation to their mental health wellbeing, as we are all too aware of the difficulties that arise in later life if their mental health issues are not addressed at such a formative stage in their lives. We offer services 6 days and 4 evenings a week for anyone seeking support or advice regarding their mental health and are particularly keen to support people with ongoing mental illness e.g. Bipolar, Schizophrenia etc.
