Emmett is a vertically integrated farming, packing and marketing business supplying retail customers with a few, very specialised vegetable products. We are fixated by the detail of our narrow portfolio and use this approach to obtain scale and be the best and the cheapest at what we do. We are highly invested both in our people and our equipment; all our supply chains are dynamic and we encourage structured debate as to how me might improve them. Family-owned with a flat board structure of experts, we can move quickly when necessary, but more importantly we can plan every facet of our supply chain slowly and in great detail. We have wholly owned growing in the UK, Spain and Italy giving us 100% year-round supply of our products using the best soil types and climates. We have built an environment that allows us to enjoy being spinach, leek, kale and cavolo nero nutters! We try to run everything at Emmett according to our values and these are underpinned by our operational principles; we are far from achieving all of these every day but they are statements of intent that shape how we behave and act as a rudder for where we are heading.
