We are a multi-specialty care platform that unites different accountable care programs under one ACO platform. Our shared goals, shared initiatives and shared savings, positions UMACO to achieve the objectives of more coordinated, team-based, and value-conscious care. It enables us simultaneously address the needs of the elderly, adults and pediatric members. We balance a focus on high-cost and high-risk segments with broad-based interventions across settings and populations, using incentive structures to ensure that participating providers can continuously evolve their practices. Our partnership with Cerner Corporation, PowerWorks Practice Management and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) enables implementation of a full-service ACO, with streamlined practice workflow and increased practice efficiency, allowing our practices to focus on increasing quality of care. UMACO operates under the Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) through an agreement with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). In addition, UMACO currently holds three performance-based contracts with private payers, a number that will increase in the future as UMACO participates with additional insurance payers in population health contracts.
