The California Bureau of Household Goods and Services (formerly the Bureau of Electronic and Appliance Repair, Home Furnishings and Thermal Insulation) was established within the Department of Consumer Affairs in 2009. The Bureau regulates the electronic and appliance repair, home furnishing and thermal insulation, and household moving and storage industries in California. Our mission is to protect and serve the consumers while ensuring a fair and competitive market.
