Qpex Biopharma, Inc. is a resistance-focused infectious disease company on a mission to make both a dramatic and sustainable improvement in patient care. Leveraging a multi-faceted approach and a deep understanding of drug resistance mechanisms, we are creating novel products and development strategies that overcome multi-drug resistance. We are advancing a robust portfolio of treatments that will bring innovation to antibiotic development and deliver the right treatments to the right patients in the right settings. During the previous decade, our team brought 4 antibiotic products to regulatory approvals, with an extensive record of working with public- private partnerships, including partnerships with the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) that led to the first approved antimicrobial drug product under that program in 2017. San Diego-based Qpex was launched in 2018 with investments from New Enterprise Associates, Adams Street Partners, LYZZ Capital, Hatteras Venture Partners and Stanford University Daper Fund.
