The norBIT GmbH, based in East Frisia, Northern Germany was founded in 1989 as a GmbH with public shareholders. Now fully privately held, with about 20 employees, it implements innovative solutions in the field of geographic information systems. The norBIT GmbH offers customized software systems and consulting services in preparation of a GIS implementation, the preceeding digitizing to build databases, as well as a sophisticated network-based user support. By using modern development tools, individual customer requirements can be implemented with low development costs and time. We also support design and implementation of complex intranet solutions from Linux, Unix or Windows servers and web applications.
