Singapore-based MedTech company that specialises in the development of products to treat chronic wounds. MEDIFLY is used by private and public hospitals in Singapore to disinfect and debride chronic wounds. Our product is clinically-proven to reduce amputation rates and eliminate infections in chronic wounds, especially diabetic foot ulcers. We are ISO13485 certified and our MEDIFLY products are HSA registered as class C medical devices. We are also developing collagen dressing products from waste seafood and further breakdown of waste seafood by blowflies to generate insect protein. This insect protein can be processed for novel bioactives and/or fed back to the aquaculture industry as part of a sustainable circular economy. Pipeline projects for Cuprina include patented Indoor Pollination using blowflies for vertical farmers. This technology will allow on demand pollination for vertical farmers looking to pivot away from green vegetables into fruiting crops.
