Delta Kappa Epsilon International Fraternity
www.dke.orgDelta Kappa Epsilon was founded at Yale on June 22, 1844 in order to establish a brotherhood "where the candidate most favored was he who combined in the most equal proportions the gentleman, the scholar, and the jolly good fellow." Since our inception, the Dekes have expanded to over 100 universities around the United States and Canada, including a number of the world’s most prestigious educational institutions. Amongst our list of alumni, we are honored to count many of modern history’s most influential leaders and titans of industry, including five US Presidents. "It is no coincidence that five presidents of the United States have been Dekes-more than any other fraternity-that our flag was flown on the first expedition to the North Pole and again on a manned landing to the moon. The individual qualities that DKE seeks have certainly withstood the test of time and served us all in good stead. It is that unique blend of leadership, brotherhood and tradition that fuels this fraternity." - Brother Gerald R. Ford, Omicron '35
