LakeRidge South is built upon the foundation of the original LakeRidge development. Started in December, 1977, LakeRidge now encompasses 625 acres and includes over 1,200 homes, an 18-hole golf course, eight tennis courts and a junior size Olympic swimming pool.LakeRidge established itself in Lubbock TX by setting many firsts. Among its watermarks, LakeRidge was the first planned golf course community and the first subdivision to have paved alleys with rear entry access.
