Founded in San Antonio by Rob Robbins in 2014, ryb studio is a design practice focused on architecture, interior design, and facility consulting. We serve commercial and residential clients throughout Central Texas. The initials stand for red yellow blue; a nod to early modernism and the work of Piet Mondrian. Pronounced like a barbecue rib; the name evokes the Texas flavor of our approach to design. ryb studio is certified by the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners as a registered design firm licensed to practice in the State of Texas under Registration No. BR 1899. Rob Robbins is a registered architect, LEED Accredited Professional, and member of the American Institute of Architects. Rob graduated from Rice University with a BA in Architecture, Art and Art History in 1990 and a BArch in Architecture in 1992. Rob’s career spans many different disciplines including: architecture, interiors, manufacturing, and real estate development. Additionally, Rob has taught design at Arizona State University, The University of Texas at Austin, and Texas State University.
