In 1871, James “Philosopher” Smith discovered what was to become the richest Tin mine in the world. James named his Tasmanian family homestead “Westwood" and this name has become a proud tradition across the generations. We are passionate about the impact of family history and culture on future generations and ensure this is evident in all that we do. The Westood Smith Group have learnt from our fore bearers about the importance of forward momentum both personally and professionally. We stand for strength, loyalty and progress.
