Re-Fresh Global
www.re-fresh.globalRe-Fresh Global provides end-to-end solutions for the Circular Economy in Textiles through novel textile waste management technologies and raw materials made from textile waste. Founded by entrepreneurs Revital Nadiv and Viktoria Kanar, the company initiates and implements circular economy projects, training, and international cooperation programs to create a business ecosystem for industry, government, and the social sector for circularity and innovation. By 2050 the fashion industry will be responsible for 25% of the global CO2 emissions! Our solution is a Smart Textile Waste Upcycling Microfactory©, a 1000m2 “turn-key” urban manufacturing solution supporting cities in the achievement of the EU Waste Framework Directive (WFD) on a territorial level by enabling the smart collection, separation, and innovative low-cost upcycling of large volumes of low-value textile waste into three groups of high-value raw materials: bio-ethanol, nanocellulose and sanitized multifunctional textile pulp for a wide spectrum of industrial use (in support of the EU 2050 climate-neutrality objective). The micro-factories will be set up through a franchise-based global network and include the locally adopted process of collecting, sorting, disassembling, and upcycling mixed textile waste, with capacity for advanced research and development. The activity aims to produce a radical change of the linear textile industry and the traditional one-way production which harms, and pollutes the environment, and is not adapted to the technological age and its possibilities as developed by parallel traditional industries in the world (Industry 4.0).
