Our Mission: Life Without Limitations In 1955, the Center began with one teacher and 9 children and has grown to be the Center for Human Services today, serving over 7,800 children and adults with disabilities and their families in 39 counties in Central Missouri. At CHS, we believe that everyone has the right to live a Life Without Limitations. Our team is made up of over 350 employees located throughout Missouri, and we are always looking for good people to join us in our mission.
