SEP: - provides training for parents, siblings and caregivers in order to improve the living conditions of children with disabilities and their social environment; - offers training for professionals (special needs teachers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, psychologists) for continuous professional development, focusing thereby on a transdisciplinary approach; - supports inclusive education by connecting families with schools and training teachers. SEP Kenya consists of 80 volunteer members and 10 staff members. Its office is located in Nairobi. SEP Kenya was founded in 1990. It is a registered society since 2001 (No 19624) and registered with the Kenyan National Council for Persons with Disabilities (No. NCPWD/O853).
