The Verto Literary Group is a Boston-based startup founded in 2019 by Pulitzer Prize winner Gareth Cook. Our team of editors works with clients on book-length nonfiction projects, from developing the initial idea to turning in the final manuscript. Recent clients include Barbara Walter (How Civil Wars Start, a NYT bestseller), NYT reporters Cecelia Kang and Sheera Frankel (An Ugly Truth, which is being made into a limited series for HBO) and Christopher Wylie (MindF*ck, which is being made into a feature film).
