BabyGym® is a South African Research and Training Institute founded by Neurodevelopmental Specialist, Dr Melodie de Jager. We recognise that pregnancy, birth and long-term developmental opportunities play a pivotal role in not only the individual child’s development, but also the growth of an entire nation. BabyGym is a physical developmental programme, but more than that, way more than that, the BabyGym Institute is passionate about the relationship between every mommy, daddy and baby. A BabyGym® Instructor is a motherly female who spontaneously creates an atmosphere of care and empathy for vulnerable first time parents who seek to understand and enhance the wonder of a developing baby. A BabyGym Instructor has a passion for sharing brain development in simple and understandable terms, and enjoys the balance between a structured programme, professional service and informal dialogue throughout the clients BabyGym journey.
