URF stands for University Radio Falmer and is the student radio station at the University of Sussex. It's one of the oldest student radio stations in the country and is also one of the only stations that doesn’t playlist its shows. Based on the top floor of Falmer House at the University of Sussex, URF broadcasts across campus, Brighton and the world via www.urfonline.com and on DAB (Digital Radio). Student DJs determine the music policy, as URF is run entirely by student volunteers. So whether you're a big reggae fan or prefer a bit of R&B they'll probably be a show for you on URF.
