In 1936, Sjølund was just an ordinary village located in the Southern part of Jutland, Denmark. However, the little town had a traditional blacksmith. An excellent one, one might add. In the 1970’s, the Sjølund blacksmith bought the first bending machine and the journey towards today's Sjølund A/S began. Through the 1980’s, we bent our first profiles for the train industry. And in the 1990's, we began specializing in bending aluminium and steel to other industries. Since 2008, we expanded to Asia with a production facility in China. Today, we can proudly say that we are a global company serving customers in Denmark and worldwide. Our production facilities in Denmark and China combined with our warehouse in the US ensure that our customers have a reliable and global supply chain. Transport Within the transportation industry, we are recognized as a valuable subcontractor. And with a proven track record of delivering components to trains, trucks, cars, buses and ships, we can handle the most challenging assignments. We deliver components to windshield support, roof rails, door rails, and other structural parts for trucks, cars and buses, door frames, funnels cladding, and even components to interior design on cruise ships and yachts. Every day, we ship components to various industries such as agriculture, logistics and health services.
