Kumon of Mount Pleasant - Laurel Hill is part of the world's largest math and reading enrichment program, helping children develop strong educational foundations through the proven Kumon Method. Our program is a long-term solution that helps children pre-k through high school using an individualized curriculum. For children that may need tutoring, the Kumon Method finds the root of the problem and fills gaps in learning. Children in Kumon truly master math, reading and writing as they fine-tune critical thinking skills and gain independence and confidence. Kids attend the center two days a week and they spend about 30 minutes per subject at home the other five days of the week. This daily practice is essential and, with kids advancing at their own pace, many reach work beyond grade level.
