The father, son and daughter team of Simon, Tom and Sophie are following in a long line of footsteps when it comes to textile as fabric is woven into the Hargreaves’ family history. Situated in the heart of Lancashire – once know as ‘Cottonopolis’ – Alice James is the next generation of fabric design experimenting with innovative Astro Regenerated yarns, colour collections and manufacturing processes, while drawing on tried and tested techniques that the Hargreaves ancestors were pioneering at the start of the Industrial Revolution.
