The Office of the Staff Judge Advocate provides legal services to the Maryland National Guard, including the Army, Air Force, and Military Department. JAG officers and paralegals provide expert legal advice to all levels of command as well as over 6,000 Soldiers, Airmen, and civilians. As Guardsmen we serve the citizens of Maryland under the control of the Governor. We remain ready and trained to deploy overseas in defense of the Nation.
