Alexandre (Alex) Montagu is a founding Partner of MontaguLaw, P.C., a law firm that focuses primarily on intellectual property law, international commercial transactions, and new media commercial and corporate law on behalf of clients ranging from startup enterprises to Fortune 500 companies in a variety of industries such as culinary, financial services, publishing and cosmetics. Mr. Montagu also serves as outside General Counsel to a number of companies. In this capacity, Mr. Montagu handles all aspects of his clients’ legal affairs including managing litigation, drafting and negotiating agreements and consolidating and managing over 15,000 trademarks and domain names worldwide. In addition, Mr. Montagu has been an arbitrator on a number of cases before the International Chamber of Commerce. He is frequently a guest speaker at international business and legal conferences on various intellectual property issues.
