Gripsholmsskolan is a kindergarten through year 9 school in Mariefred just west of Stockholm, Sweden. It started in 2009, receiving 46 students with the ambition of building the best thinkable private school for them. The school employs four strategies of varying uniqueness to achieve this; strong influences from the prodigy of primary education - Finland, balance between love and boundaries, one computer per child and a focus on physical health. Idyllically located right by the lake across from Gripsholm castle and with the deer meadows in the back the school has since grown to over 413 students.
