Social Intell’s main purpose is combating negative use of Social Media to promote peace in Sri Lanka and create public awareness in the community, unbiased to racial, religious and ethnic differences, towards a common goal of a reconciled society. We use effective communication methods on social media such as notes, photos, videos, pencil art, etc. to take their ideas to the general public. Under the above purpose, Social Intell has 3 objectives. 1. Dealing with misinformation, Identifying hoaxes and fake news as they originate, scan trusted news sources and verify the information. 2. Comparisons of Past Incidents of Civil, Social, Cultural Issues that have emerged in the Country, Compare them with current situations and making the public aware of the consequences and provide resolutions. 3. Creating Trilingual Pictorial, Verbal, Video and Graphic content on creating public awareness in the community, unbiased to racial, religious and ethnic differences, but towards a common goal of A Peaceful Country and a Reconciled Society. Accordingly, Social Intell has built up strong relationships with some minor community groups such as Fight Cancer Team and Generation Green and acts as a bridge which connects other communities who promote positive messages through their activities in the community. We link other communities for the betterment of our nation. We are proud to say that we are an unbiased organization which operates with the aim of building a peaceful online environment for the public.
