Innovation and entrepreneurship are increasingly considered key drivers to solve real-world problems. The knowledge, skill, and application activities within the Shark Tank eSchool program incorporates core concepts of creativity, innovation, critical thinking, teamwork, and entrepreneurial thinking skills - into developing our entrepreneurial leaders of tomorrow. Classroom teaching and learning Classroom teaching and learning includes all tangible activities and engagement in the classroom. Throughout the program, students will be encouraged to go into their community to undertake research and speak to potential customer segments. It is the responsibility of each school to plan and prepare for those activities. If going out of the school is not optional, suggestions are included as to how those activities can be completed within the school Benefits to students Through the Shark Tank eSchool program, students will benefit through pathway credits at all three levels of education: • SACE credit Shark Tank eSchool is mapped to the Business Innovation Year 11 course and Business and Economics for Year 10 students providing 2 Cert IV units equivalent to 10 SACE credits • 2 units VET credit Certificate IV in Entrepreneurship and New Venture Creation (25% of Cert IV qualification). The two units if credit from this qualification can also be applied to a range of Cert IV qualifications and career pathway options for TAFE • 1x Course credit Any University of Adelaide Bachelor program • Transferable skills Enables students to develop transferable skills while acknowledging changing industry/career demands.
