Funky Buddha is part of ALTEX SA Group of Companies. Altex is a family-owned clothing company founded in Athens, Greece, in 2005 by Yannis K. Alexiou. Altex employs more than 200 experienced fashion specialists in Greece and the production countries, designing, developing, selling and marketing Altex’s brands. Until 2015 Altex's focus has been on men’s fashion; however, since 2015 Altex introduced its complete women’s line which is based on the fashion DNA of the Funky Buddha Brand. Today, our clothes and accessories target young men and women, and they are sold under the brand names: 2NDSKIN (2009), FUNKY BUDDHA (2003) and GARAGE55 (2011). Altex clothes and accessories are now sold in Greece through over 400 independent retailers, as well as through a network of branded FUNKY BUDDHA stores all over Greece, Cyprus and several other European countries. Our vision is to always develop and market our brands in accordance to European fashion trends and to create a distinct mix of brands which will appeal mainly – but not only – to the trends-aware 18-35 age group.
