PhotoIreland
www.photoireland.orgBecome a Patron: https://www.patreon.com/PhotoIreland PhotoIreland is an organisation dedicated to stimulating a critical dialogue around Photography and Visual Culture in Ireland, promoting internationally the work of artists in and from Ireland. In 2010, we started Ireland’s first international Photography festival: PhotoIreland Festival. We launched Ireland’s first Book & Magazine Fair in 2011, dedicated to Photography. It was the germ of the PhotoIreland Foundation Collection, that now includes over 2500 photobooks and artworks from around the world. In 2013, we opened The Library Project: an eclectic Art bookshop with a productive gallery programme, hosting our collection of specialised photobooks as a resource library for all its members. Our portfolio of activities includes educational elements like the Critical Academy, with seminars and research projects; publishing projects like the TLP Editions and the triennial project promoting Irish talent – New Irish Works; events like the HALFTONE print fair in November, and the Arts residency How To Flatten a Mountain, a project hosted in Cow House Studios, Wexford, that culminates with an exhibition of the work produced during the residency at Rathfarnham Castle, Dublin. Stay in touch: Subscribe, follow, tweet, and participate. You can get in touch by email at info@photoireland.org
