Shanghai ABM Rock Wool Co., Ltd formerly named as Shanghai Advanced Building Materials Mineral Wool Factory is a member of Shanghai Building Materials (Group) General Company, locates in Shanghai Qingpu Industrial park, covers an area of approximately 60,000 square meters and has more than 300 employees including about 60 engineers and technicians. In 1986, Shanghai ABM Rock Wool Co., Ltd introduced a full set of production line from Japan Nitto Boseki Co., Ltd, and in 2002, it newly built up a production line reaching advanced national level. The plant total production capacity is more than 40,000 tons annually and has kept No.1 in sales volume in the same industry in China over a series of years. In early 2011, Shanghai ABM Rock Wool Dafeng Co., Ltd was established in Dafeng city Jiangsu Province which covers an area of 220,000 square meters. Theproduction capacity is 70,000 tons annually. There is 3 brands owed by ABM company. 樱花 is branded for Chinese market, ABM is mainly for export market and UPuper is only for cultivation rock wool(agriculture).
