Bank of China Frankfurt Branch was opened in May 1989 as the first Chinese credit institute in Germany. It lies in the heart of the European financial metropolis. Business developed so well that the Bank of China branch in Hamburg was opened in June 1993. Branch offices in Düsseldorf, Berlin and Munich followed. As a financial institution established in Germany, Bank of China Frankfurt Branch deals with all banking transactions that are determined by its commercial licenses and permitted by the KWG.
