The Academic Society for Corporate Management & Communication is a joint initiative of leading companies and universities with the aim of actively shaping the future of corporate communications through joint research and knowledge sharing. The initiative was founded in 2010. Today, five universities (Leipzig, Münster, Duisburg-Essen, Hohenheim/Stuttgart and Vienna) and about 40 German and international corporate partners support the work of the Academic Society. The Academic Society is part of the Günter Thiele Foundation for Communication & Management.
