Cat Welfare Advocates is a dynamic, new 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping cats and the people who love them. Collectively we have 50+ years of experience in animal rescue; and we have the values, knowledge, heart and work ethic to make a difference in our community. As a new organization established in 2017, we serve the Silicon Valley. Our focus is to help community and abandoned cats and kittens as well as provide assistance to families and colony caregivers. We do our best to help any and all cats who need a chance to thrive. Our priority is placing each cat in our care in the best environment suited to the cat's personality and needs. Our network of volunteers and connections allow us to foster and adopt out cats who would end up in overcrowded shelters. We take the utmost care in finding families to love and provide a permanent home for our cats as well as ensuring that our feline friends are a good match for each family. We view the cats in our care, like the cats in our own homes, as FAMILY. OUR MISSION: Helping cats and the people who love them.
